Hello
My name is Vicky Williams
I was born just outside Norwich, Norfolk and lived there throughout my childhood. I moved away when I was eighteen when I joined the Royal Air Force and then continued to keep moving around with my job. I spent eight years in the North of Scotland, followed by time in and around London before coming to Lincolnshire in 2013. My husband Dave and I welcomed our children George and Evelyn a few years later and now we are well and truly settled in the gorgeous village of Nocton. When I get a spare moment after working and running around after the children, I enjoy all sports especially hockey and cycling.

I have spent the last 24 years as an Officer in the Royal Air Force.
During that time I was lucky enough to command a Squadron, for which I was awarded an OBE in the 2023 King’s Birthday Honours List.

I have undertaken a variety of roles in a number of locations, all of which have allowed me to develop my communication skills, public speaking experience and produce high quality written work under time pressure.

All my experiences have been underpinned with a deep rooted passion for people and their wellbeing.
When I decided to leave the Royal Air Force I knew I wanted to move into a role that helped others and had meaning.
I realised I had many transferable skills to bring to Celebrancy, so I decided to compliment these with a Level 3 Diploma in Funeral, Naming and Couples Celebrancy. I absolutely love my job as a celebrant, being able to help people on their happiest of days or most difficult times really is an honour and a privilege.

My Promise
As a member of Association of Independent Celebrants, I am fully insured and have access to the most up-to-date range of resources, to help crate your ceremony. I was trained by Civl Ceremonies Ltd, so you can be sure of my ability and professionalism
I have adopted The Funeral Celebrancy Council Accord, which defines the standards by which I will carry out my role as a celebrant.
